Pechakucha Nights: Coping with Crisis
SPRING 2022Pechakucha Nights is a global storytelling platform where speakers present 20 slides for 20 seconds each, sharing personal narratives around a central theme. For Volume 44 in Yerevan, Armenia, the topic was Coping with Crisis, a reflection on how a generation has endured wars, earthquakes, global instability, and pandemics.
I developed the visual identity for the event, from concept to final execution. I led the design and production process across all event and social media materials based on the concept I presented to the European Union and the Pechakucha team.
The poster tells the story of emotional transition—starting in a state of grief, frustration, and confusion (expressed through cool tones and a withdrawn figure), and gradually evolving into resilience and hope. This shift is reflected through posture, composition, and a brighter, more optimistic color palette. I designed the visual system, including the illustrations, and prepared all final assets for print production, and a social media push.
