The creative team worked on designing and refining beer labels alongside the Design Lead or Creative Director, and the Brewmaster, for Other Half, blending new concepts with updates to existing designs. As part of a brand audit, we honed in on a consistent style, color palette, and design elements so labels stand out on the shelf as unmistakably Other Half.
Merch
Print efforts go into merch for online and in-person sales. For the designs, we like to use characters, play on the labels, and create typography-focused designs to reflect the playful side of the Other Half brand.
Taproom Activations, Menus, and Packaging
The taprooms also hold events and activations for bigger beer weeks and festivals. Other Half has opened a few locations with kitchens and a full liquor menu.
Additionally, I worked on menu designs for the taprooms, which hadn’t been done before. I took inspiration from the new wave of American eateries, specifically menus that add worldwide flavors to classic American dishes, as the Other Half kitchens do. Very fitting for a brewery menu.
The brewery has put out fun packaging for the beer series in the past. The marketing team is new to Other Half and works directly with the creative team. We pushed for more packaged products, such as the 2025 Holiday Stout Box Set.
