Stout Season is Other Half’s annual winter festival, bringing together 50+ breweries to showcase their stouts alongside our own releases, including the Snowbirds series that inspired the festival’s original concept. For the 2025 event, I developed the full visual identity—building on the existing foundation while steering the brand toward a retro–Miami direction that merges winter and summer in a playful nod to “snowbirds” migrating south.

With guidance from the creative director, I designed digital, print, and environmental assets that created a cohesive experience across social media, merch, signage, and on-site installations.
The refreshed visual system supported a strong marketing push, contributing to over 350 tickets sold, surpassing attendance from previous years.

This year’s identity expanded the Stout Season world by leaning deeper into the Snowbirds narrative. The system draws from the atmosphere of a Miami grandma’s home but is executed with a contemporary sensibility, leveraging nostalgia and kitsch as strategic tools to energize the audience. The visual identity is expressive, kitschy, and unmistakably Other Half, reinforcing the brand’s focus with memorable experiences and meaningful engagement both online and at the festival.

Playground

Welcome to my “playground,” which shows the exploration behind this year’s system—from evolving the flamingo into a fully realized character to testing layouts, patterns, colors, and type treatments that shaped the final direction.
